Spotlight: Equine 4 in 1 Joint Formula and ... - Liquid Health? Pets

In case you didn?t know, Liquid Health offers a couple of liquid supplements for horses. Both of these products are aimed at helping to ease joint pain and problems in your equine friends. Both products contain Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM which is a very popular combination for dealing with joint issues. The difference between the Liquid Health Equine 4 in 1 Joint Formula and the Liquid Health Equine Level 5000 is all in the dosages. I?ll describe both products in more detail below.

The first of our wonderful liquid supplements for horses is the Liquid Health Equine 4 in 1 Joint Formula. The reason it?s called 4 in 1 is that it contains the big 4 of joint supplement ingredients: Glucosamine, Chondroitin, Opti-MSM, and Hyaluronic Acid. These ingredients have been proven in many tests and studies to help ease joint pain, stiffness and other problems in humans, dogs and even horses. This product contains 1600 mg of Glucosamine Hcl, 1200 mg of Chondroitin Sulfate, 1500 mg of MSM and 25 mg of Sodium Hyaluronate (or Hyaluronic Acid) per one ounce serving. For horses over 900 pounds you would administer 2 ounces a day.

The other of our liquid supplements for horses is the Liquid Health Equine Level 5000. Similarly to our K9 Level 5000, this product offers essentially the same ingredients, but at a much high concentration for a higher level of effectiveness. The main ingredients in this formula are: Glucosamine Hcl and Glucosamine sulfate, Hyaluronic Acid, Opti-MSM?, and Chondroitin. The difference, however, is in the dosage of each ingredient. Equine Level 5000 contains (in every one ounce serving) 2600 mg of Glucosamine Hcl and 2600 mg of Glucosamine Sulfate, which equals 5200 mg of Glucosamine per one ounce serving. Additionally, this product contains 1000 mg of Chondroitin Sulfate, 1000 mg of Sodium Hyaluronate (or Hyaluronic Acid) and 1000 mg Opti-MSM in every ounce. Opti-MSM is ?ultra-purified and distilled to provide the purest form of sulfur needed for structural integrity of joint cartilage,? according to our own website. For horses less than 1100 pounds you would give one ounce a day and for horses over 1100 pounds you would give 2 ounces a day.

Both of these liquid supplements for horses are free of sugar, starch, wheat, gluten, yeast, milk, corn and soy derivatives. We also recommend consulting with your vet if your horse has clotting disorders, is being treated with anticoagulant medications, has diabetes or any metabolic disorder causing hypoglycemia, has a history of urinary tract stones, or has a known allergy to shellfish.
