The SilverCloud? at the 2012 Ryder Cup

The units were viewed by their RF Audio and Video QC engineers in order to assign the proper antenna receiver to the proper transmitters.
The 3-second continuous updates provided CP Communications the ability to accurately track their audio and video team on the map in true real-time without having to constantly refresh or ping the device. The intuitive and user-friendly SilverCloud online mapping software, powered by Google Maps, also allowed them to see precisely where each team was at all times without having to contact each team individually.
The SilverCloud?s? real-time GPS location data, helps save fleet dispatchers and even production crew managers, as was?the case for CP Comms, valuable time, which is absolutely vital when it comes to live sporting events, like The Ryder Cup, which was viewed by millions of people worldwide.
