Watch the House Debate the Boehner Debt Plan (The Atlantic Wire)

Tonight, a final vote on House Speaker John Boehner's bill to reduce the deficit and raise the debt ceiling is expected at 6 p.m. Right now, Democrats and Republicans are debating the bill. In a press conference this afternoon, Boehner said he was confident the bill would pass. We'll see in a few hours if that rings true. In the meantime, The Hill is keeping an informal list of where the House GOP stands: "22 Republicans are either no votes or leaning against voting for Boehner?s measure. At least another 44 Republicans are publicly undecided, or their positions are unclear." The magic number is 217 votes to pass the bill through the House. According to Daily Beast contributor John Batchelor, Boehner only has 23 votes to lose. Here are the debates happening on the House floor:
