Campbell County Recreation Center is top-notch when it comes to family fun.
The 190,000-square-foot facility is equipped with a 42-foot climbing wall, three basketball courts, four racquetball courts, an elevated walking track, training and locker rooms, concessions, a weight room, a cardio area, three exercise rooms and two tanning beds.
Many of the amenities enjoyed by families today came after a renovations project in 2010. The project, developed from a partnership with the Campbell County School District, allowed for an 81,000-square-foot field house with a six-lane pool, a 200-meter track, five indoor tennis courts and more.

The full-service recreation center also functions as a multi-use competitive sports and training facility and has a long list of activities, programs and lessons for people of all ages.
Kids as young as 4 can enjoy tennis, ice skating, swimming, kid's camps, youth hikes, or celebrate their birthday in one of the center?s birthday rooms.
Parents will be glad to know that kids under 3 are always free. And in the center?s kids zone, parents can drop off their little ones while they enjoy some of the center?s many adult amenities.
Adult Activities
Racquetball, softball, basketball, karate, and square and ballroom dancing are just a few of the activities adults can enjoy. They can also participate in the annual powerlifting competition or dodgeball tournament.
