A Game Of Thrones by?George R.R. Martin ? Currently reading
Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep ? Currently reading
A Reaper?s Tale ? The Undecided by Adam Slade 4
Something a little different for me. An UF told from the male protagonists POV, a little dark humor, very little romance but a good read.
The Arrangement (Courtland Chronicles, #4) by?Cat Grant 2
This is a book I started a while back, put away for a while and then came back to. Even with the second try I found the three-way relationship really hard to buy into. I didn?t feel the chemistry.
Malcolm (Black Cougar, #3) by?Eliza Gayle 3.5
Sometimes I just need to read a PNR with lots of hot smexiness. This one fit the bill. Review to come.
On the Edge (The Edge, #1) by Ilona Andrews 3
I went into this book expecting romance. The romance fell flat for me but I love the world and conflict.
Bayou Moon (The Edge, #2) by Ilona Andrews 4
I liked this one a little better. It?s still the world and action that draws me but I liked the hero and heroine this time.
Magic Slays (Kate Daniels, #5) by Ilona Andrews 5
My favorite of the series. Not only did it have great heart stopping action, but it had some really good romance this time. I swooned.
Beyond Eden by Kele Moon 4
This book really pushed me. I was uncomfortable with some of the sex scenes but?fascinated?at the same time.
Passion Unleashed (Demonica, #3) by Larissa Ione 5
Oh?Wraith you are soooo intense. And sexy. rawr.
Ecstasy Unveiled (Demonica, #4) by Larissa Ione 3
Wraith is a hard act to follow.
The Reluctant Nude by Meg? Maguire 4.5
So glad I came back to this one in a different frame of mind. ?This turned out to be one of my favorite reads of the year. Such an intimate, lovely romance.
Mine Until Morning by?Samantha Hunter 3.5
I liked the idea of the story taking place during a blackout. The hero was blind for most of the story and it added an interesting dynamic to his alpha personality.
River of Need (Tennessee Cops, #4) by?Shayla Kersten 2
This had such an interesting premise. But when I really dug in I just didn?t like one of the protagonists at all. ?That being said, I may read more from this series and author.
Hunter?s Fall (The Hunters #13) by?Shiloh Walker DNF
I read the first 100 pages but I struggled to figure out what was going on. Combined with the grim atmosphere I decided to quit. I did not read any of the previous books in the series and perhaps if I had I would not?have felt lost.
In A Dark Embrace by?Simone Bern 2.5
Lots of sex, good action scene but I felt the characters were under developed and I was left disappointed.
That was my month in books. How did yours compare? Any recommendations?
