Five join cast of noir indie 'Dark Hearts'

Kyle Schmid, Sonja Kinski, Lucas Till, Rachel Blanchard and Juliet Landau have joined the cast of the independent noir thriller "Dark Hearts." The film is produced by Kees Van Oostrum of Black Tulip, Alexis Varouxakis of Adrenaline Entertainment and exec produced by Jack Bowyer. Supporting cast includes Goran Visnjic and Richard Edson. "Hearts," written by Christian Piers Betley and directed by Rudolf Buitendach, began shooting May 10 in Los Angeles and is wrapping this week. Story kicks off when struggling artist accompanies his younger brother to a secret gig where he finds his muse in sultry singer (Kinski) only to be thrust into a maelstrom of art, blood and passion, leading to a dangerous love triangle. Schmid is repped by Innovative Artists and Norbert Abrams, Kinski is repped by Artists Independent Management, Till is represented by APA, Blanchard is repped by The Schiff Company, and Landau is repped by the Daniel Hoff Agency and Covington International. Visnjic is repped by WME and Management 360 and Edson is repped at the Media Artists Group.
